The SitByCare team reviews cancellations holistically. If we see a consistent pattern of last-minute cancellations, you may no longer be eligible to participate in SitByCare On Demand services.
Canceling because of an emergency
We understand that sometimes plans may change unexpectedly, preventing you from completing a service. If you find yourself in this situation, here is what to do:
- Let SitByCare On Demand support know right away by submitting a cancellation.
- Inform your client through your Rover Messages that you are unable to complete the booking.
Cancellation policy for owners
SitByCare On Demand adheres to SitByCare’s flexible cancellation policy, allowing a client to cancel their service at any time without a cancellation fee.
Canceling a service on behalf of a client
If a client asks you to cancel for them, you won’t be penalized for it. When you submit the cancellation through the app, you’ll be able to specify that the client needed to cancel.
